My nickname as a child was chosen for me - just a short version of my name. I've noticed that EVERYONE defaults to this nickname, even when I introduce and contiunally refer to myself by my full name. Obviously there's an aspect in relation to my identity as a furry. Many baby animals are called kits - rabbits included.
Sometimes I like to imagine the people in my life as anthro animals. For example, growing up I see my mom and sister as anthro otters. My sister has always been very much like my mom, though more empathetic. She . As for my dad and little brother... I maybe see them as badgers. Also excellent swimmers (my dad doesnt swim but my brother was an MVP in high school). As for me, my parents also put me into swimming, and though I sometimes enjoyed it, I was never the fastest. In my swim club I was kinda in the role of the A-team substitute. I loved to hang out with my friends on the B-team. We just talked memes and games and had fun hanging out all of swim meets. Looking back, it all kinda fits. Rabbits can swim, but they don't want to get wet if they don't have to. I mean, I'm pretty sure I lost my hearing because I was a swmmer. And what kinda rabbit has bad hearing? The kind who was forced to swim and got an ear infection that turned into the dissolving of the middle ear. They're social, but cautious about who they're social around.
I want to make a fan mod of Cry of Fear where Simon encounters a rabbit during his story, and it completely changes the pace of the game. Suddenly it's not about fending off his inner demons, but rather protecting this rabbit from them.
I choose to be a mountain cottontail because of a tragic childhood event that involved a cottontail. Something I'm not ready to talk about yet.
SO I NOTICED... in my Unity scene, I added a normal map to certain textures, and suddenly, the reflections on these materials were really vibrant, and then I realized that they were picking up all the colorful lights of the city because the only reflection probe in the scene at the time was outdoors. So... the walls on the inside had these super sparkly reflections that looked amazing as they glinted off the cracks in my normal map. Anyway, I realized I could mess with this a bit, so I built a box with these bright, colorful materials, baked a reflection probe inside, then set all the materials in my scene to use the transform of the probe as their anchor override in their probes properties, and now these bland walls are GORGEOUS!
